Brattleboro Area Drop-In Center

Is the primary distributor of food and services to those who need help with daily necessities. Trinity helps to stock the center's shelves with weekly food donations.

The Brattleboro Area Drop In Center, Inc. is a day shelter open to all persons within the Brattleboro area. They offer a welcoming atmosphere, community food shelf, support services, and a place where homeless and lonely persons can come.The Brattleboro Area Drop In Center, Inc. which opened in May, 1988 is the result of an initial grant provided by the United Methodist Church, Board of Global Ministries, and Department of Health and Welfare. The need is year round. Through the assistance of churches such as Trinity, other organizations and individuals within our community, Brattleboro Area Drop In Center is supported to serve the lonely, homeless, and needy. They also receive additional funding from the Vermont Department of Mental Health, Towns, Federal Homeless Assistance Funds, and the United Way of Windham County.

Brattleboro Overflow Shelter

Housed in space at the First Baptist Church in downtown Brattleboro, the center operates 7 days a week from November through mid-April.  Trinity helps to provide and serve warm meals for the residents.
